Laminated kitchen countertops have been used in homes for many years. It offers countless style options combined with substantial cost savings, due to reduced labor and more inexpensive material compared to other surfaces.
We are please to partner with Formica® and Wilsonart® to provide your with a lot of laminate options and the best quality.
Laminate is a synthetic material made up of several layers: multiple sheets of kraft paper (like that used in grocery bags), a decorative paper and a melamine plastic coating. It is very easy to clean and is impact resistant. A coved design, where the laminate eliminates the countertop's back edge by curving slightly up the wall, is available and makes cleanup even easier. Though economical, laminate does not last as long as stone. Its layers make it difficult to repair chips, hot items and water seeping into seams may cause layers to break apart and it can be damaged by a knife.
Laminate is produced in hundreds of colors and patterns and a variety of finishes from polished and matte to those that mimic metal, wood or natural stone look and feel. Formica finishes. Wilsonart finishes.
